The world's longest Christmas celebration is in full swing all over the Philippines, with Visayas and Mindanao joining the festivities as spearheaded by TV5 via its symbolic Tree Lighting Ceremony in key areas in Cebu and Davao.

Following the successful launch of its "Atin ang Paskong Ito, Kapatid" Christmas campaign on Sept. 1, commenced through the Tree Lighting Ceremony held at the TV5 Media Center in Mandaluyong City, with Kaisa sa Pagbibigay Saya, Lady’s Choice, in partnership with Safeguard, brought to them by Unilab, and its regional venue partners, the network extends the Yuletide celebrations to Kapatids in Visayas and Mindanao with the ceremonial Christmas Tree Lighting at Center Point Plaza Davao on Oct. 17 and Parkmall Cebu on Oct. 20.

TV5 extends its early Yuletide festivities to Visayas and Mindanao.
TV5  extends its early Yuletide festivities to Visayas and Mindanao.

TV5 makes this Christmas a lot brighter despite the pandemic challenges by bringing hope and cheer to viewers across the country. The network recently launched its “Himig ng Ating Pasko: Guess the Lyrics Promo” where viewers who can win P20,000 (three each from Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao) in the weekly draws, three lucky winners (one each from Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao) will win P100,000 each and one lucky winner will win the jackpot prize of P1 million in the Grand Draw.

Viewers in Visayas and Mindanao can easily participate in the Christmas promo with LBC as TV5’s official logistics and dropbox partner nationwide. To join, viewers simply need to guess the missing lyrics of the featured Christmas song of the week, which TV5 will be airing during program gaps throughout the promo period.

Valid entries must include the missing lyric and the specific Christmas promo plug’s telecast date; the participant’s name, address, mobile number, email, signature, birthdate, and age; and a proof of purchase of any of the participating Lady’s Choice and Best Foods products. Entries can be submitted at any of the drop boxes in participating LBC branches in Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.
