Filipino learners staying safe at home can continue watching educational programs as well as multi-awarded Kapuso shows on DepEd TV as GMA’s digital channel airs on extended hours from 7:00 a.m. to 10:30 p.m.

‘Daig Kayo ng Lola Ko’ is a fantasy anthology series narrating the adventures of Lola Goreng, and her grandchildren Alice and Elvis.

GMA Network has been broadcasting DepEd TV for free in cooperation with the Department of Education (DepEd)’s implementation of the blended learning program.

Following the DepEd programs for different grade levels from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on weekdays, learning never stops as students can also get to be entertained by special episodes of the magical anthology program Daig Kayo Ng Lola Ko.

Fittingly, students also get to watch and cheer for student-athletes showing off their talents while proudly representing their schools at the country’s first athletic league, the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). Catch up on the games and the inspiring stories behind every athlete at the Rise Up Stronger: NCAA Season 96 every 7:30 p.m.

Young viewers of this generation can rewatch the informative show 100% Pinoy that features all things that make us proud to be Filipinos.

Ushering in the weekend is the Taiwanese variety show Mr. Player on Fridays at 9:30 p.m. while the Film 101 block, which showcases historical and award-winning movies, airs Saturdays from 7 a.m. to 10:30 p.m.

Meanwhile, in addition to the lessons that are delivered in English and Filipino, DepEd TV continues to broadcast quick tips on COVID-19 throughout the day to keep students informed on the safety protocols amidst the pandemic.

Students and parents can catch DepEd TV via Channel 7 on GMA Affordabox, GMA Now, and other digital TV receivers.
