Speculations surround the long-running GMA sitcom “Pepito Manaloto” that the show might be coming to its end as some of its cast posted on their respective Instagram a photo of them hugging each other.
Earlier this week, the rumor about the show’s potential finale began when one of its stars, John Feir, posted the photo with the caption, “Pamilya kami.”
But its lead star, Michael V. added fuel to the fire on the speculation as he also posted the same photo on his Facebook account.
In his post, the award-winning comedian, who also plays the titular role, wrote a short message extending their gratitude for all its supporters.
“Pepito Manaloto is more than just a fictional family on TV,” Michael V. penned.
“It’s a real family that extends to its cast, writers, staff, crew, the network, and most of all, our beloved audience. Maraming, maraming salamat po sa oras at pagmamahal ninyong lahat,” he added.
The post’s comment section is flooded with warm messages from netizens, saying how the show became part of their weekend.
Last month, “Pepito Manaloto” marked its 14th year and remained as one of the longest-running shows in Philippine nation television.
