A double serving of bittersweet love stories awaits Filipino homes this weekend as Alessandra de Rossi and Empoy Marquez’s Kita Kita and Julia Barretto and Joshua Garcia’s Love You to the Stars and Back air on ABS-CBN TVplus’ KBO tomorrow.
Kita Kita is an uncommon tale of love between a woman (Alessandra as Lea) suffering from heartbreak and a man (Empoy as Tonyo) who devotes what would be the remainder of his life to giving back to the kindness shown to him. Audiences have raved about the movie as it delivered a heavy emotional punch with its characters’ acceptance, kindness, and selflessness.
