Today in Ipaglaban Mo, Jairus Aquino seeks justice for his co-worker and fellow journalist, played by Raymond Bagatsing, who got slayed by a cop right before his eyes.
Jethro (Jairus) followed his father’s footsteps and became a journalist. He met senior reporter Bernard (Raymond), a committed journalist who would risk his own life to expose the truth to the public.
One day, Jethro received a tip about a bar using minors as sex workers. He quickly went undercover with Bernard and gathered pieces of evidence for an exclusive story.
With enough proof, the two went to the police station to report what they saw. Unfortunately, the police they were asking for help was related to the owner of the bar. To silence them, the police killed Bernard.
