Impressed with her performance, Vice Ganda pressed the Golden Buzzer for Kristel which guaranteed her a  place in the semi-finals.

“You made something difficult look so easy. You are so graceful and I wanted to thank you for sharing your talent with us. ‘Yan ang Pilipinas Got Talent,” Angel mused after the stunning performance.

The 11-minute clip that encapsulated an emotion-filled performance of a strong and talented woman can be compared to watching Maalaala Mo Kaya only it had a happy ending.

Kristel De Catalina, who dedicated her performance to her young kid, wowed the judges as she gracefully interpreted the song “I Dreamed a Dream” from the musical Les Miserables and danced on a rotating spiral pole suspended in midair. The performance was so moving that it even ‘healed’ Vice, who was sick while doing the shoot.

“You are a very powerful performer. You were so good that you were able to heal me. It’s not just a dance for me, I think it’s full of symbolisms. I saw your story there as a mother. You’ve struggled all the way to the top just for your son,” Vice told Kristel while showing his sweaty palms to the camera.
