‘Wansapanataym’ episode earns nod in International Emmy Kids Awards

Wansapanataym, a TV series that imparts valuable lessons and promotes good values to viewers, bagged a nomination for best TV movie/mini-series category in the 2017 International Emmy Kids Awards and the only Philippine TV show that made it to the prestigious award-giving body.

The show earned its nomination for its “Candy’s Crush” episode with Loisa Andalio and Jerome Ponce. It revolved around the life of Candy (Loisa), a young lady who got punished after using a magic potion to make the campus heartthrob Paolo (Jerome) fall in love with her. Andoy Ranay directed the episode that was aired in June 2016.

The awards show will take place on April 18, 2018.

Meanwhile, Wansapanataym continues to bring values-laden stories with its current series “Louie’s Biton.”
