Fans rave about ‘My Love From The Star’

GMA Network’s local adaptation of the hit Korean series, My Love From The Star, continues to make waves on social media as the kilig Steffi (Jennylyn Mercado) and Matteo (Gil Cuerva) exude when they’re onscreen together levels up in each episode.

Jackson (Gabby Eigenmann) wants Steffi dead after seeing that she watched the videos on Rachel’s (Rhian Ramos) USB and has sent his men out to take care of her. But Matteo, who’s already falling for Steffi, won’t let anything or anyone hurt her. Viewers are quick to point out that the two are already acting like a couple—holding hands, eating together, going on dates, and even frequenting each other’s places.

A MATCH MADE IN HEAVEN. In "My Love from the Star," Jennylyn Mercado is a movie star while Gil Cuerva is a 300-year-old alien living ordinarily among humans.
A Twitter user with the handle @edvanrachemarie tweeted “Simple lang yung istorya ng MLTFS pero kumpleto, may love story, drama, comedy, suspense, fantasy kaya kaabang-abang#MLFTSRachelsUSB”. Another user said, “@MCph1125 : I really enjoy the chemistry between Jen and Gil! For me, it’s as natural as the sun rising and setting each day! Saya pa! #MLFTSRachelsUSB”

Meanwhile, Steffi is finding herself dependent on Matteo more than ever and constantly wants to have him around. Could it be that she’s falling for him, too? But Jackson isn’t stopping anytime soon on trying to hurt her. How long can Matteo protect her when he only has a few months left on Earth?

Watch the kilig-filled episodes of My Love From The Star weeknights after Mulawin Vs. Ravena on GMA Telebabad.
