Last month, Lady Gaga disclosed that her special album would contain songs that will be covered by six artists that are included in the LGBTQIA+ community. The songs involved in the album were reimagined tracks from Gaga.

In line with this, Kylie Minogue was one of the artists collaborated by Lady Gaga for the album “Born This Way Tenth Anniversary.”

Interscope Records on YouTube has released the official audio for Minogue’s song cover that has already gained more than 24,000 views in a span of 2 hours.

Lady Gaga also shared her admiration for the song cover made by Minogue as she addressed her as the warrior queen.

The 53-year-old Australian pop singer Minogue has first confirmed her identity as someone who belongs in the LGBTQIA+ community in 2018. “It happened without me knowing it,” she added during an interview with Billboard in June the same year.

Minogue has become a gay icon noting that she represented the LGBTQIA+ community in some of her hit singles such as “All the Lovers” and “Your Disco Needs You.”

Minogue had her first public appearance in a soap opera entitled ‘Neighbours’ in the 1980s. But years later, she left her television role to pursue a singing career.

In 1988, she was able to release her debut album “Kylie,” which contained her first single named “I Should Be So Lucky” and was considered to be her first album to make it to the top album charts.

Various albums of Minogue were top-ranked for five consecutive decades that made her the first woman to have the record-breaking album. Some of these albums were “Enjoy Yourself,” “Fever,” “Aphrodite,” and “Golden.”

Her latest album release entitled “Disco” also received this prestigious recognition as it beats Little Mix’s Confetti for the hottest chart battles in 2020. In addition, it was also recognized to have the biggest opening week sales of the year 2020 based on the recorded streams and CDs that were released.

In an interview with Elle last Nov. 11, 2020, Minogue stated that the album “Disco” contained songs that will make the audience think about togetherness and good times even though there were struggles in life that could be related to the crisis during the pandemic.

Other than her album awards, Minogue was also able to win a Grammy Award, noting her single “Come into My World” which was recognized as the best dance recording.

As of writing, Minogue was also celebrating the anniversary of her two singles “Love at First Sight” released in 2002, and “All the Lovers” shown in 2010.

Kylie’s cover of “Marry the Night” was the third song that was presented to the public in relation to Lady Gaga’s album. This was released after the song cover of Big Freedia for ‘Judas’ and Orville Peck who sang ‘country road’.

The collaborated album of Lady Gaga and other artists would have 14 tracks including the song covers. This would be available on Lady Gaga’s online shop on June 25.
