Norwegian DJ and record producer Alan Walker has a brand new track that features ISÁK, a rising band in his home country.
Entitled “Sorry,” the singe consists of hard-hitting, in-your-face electronic beats, with ISÁK contributing with haunting vocals and Sami indigenous joik – melded together into a breathtaking, expressive Norse collaboration of two worlds.
Treating fans with new music, “Sorry” is released with its own music video creatively directed by Walker-collaborator Mads Neset, paying tribute to the moments we missed in 2020 and will make up for in 2021.
Filmed before the pandemic hit, the music video showcases euphoric moments of Walker’s fans, as well as displaying unique moments from Walkers 2019 The Aviation Tour.
“Spending 2020 at home in Bergen gave me the opportunity to tweak every single part of this song to the finest detail, and nurture my relationship with my fans online. We missed many moments in 2020, and I hope we can all meet again in 2021,” Walker says.
“Sorry” follows Walkers previous collaboration “Space Melody (Edward Artemyev)” with VIZE and Leony from December 2020. Walkers previous collaborations include “Time,” released in May 2020 – a remix of his personal idol Hanz Zimmer, and “Heading Home” released in April with compatriot singer-songwriter Ruben.
Walker to date holds over 120 million followers and 50 billion audio and video streams to his name, previously teaming up with massive hitmakers such as Ava Max, Noah Cyrus, and A$AP Rocky, while producing remixes for internationally renowned artists like Sia, Coldplay, Kygo, Bruno Mars, and Julia Michaels.
The 23-year-old DJ and record producer is currently the 20th most followed artist on Spotify, and with his over 38 million YouTube subscribers, he figures as the 9th biggest artist channel in the world on the platform.
