After previously releasing two singles, “Home” and “Mr. Sun” with Wonder Records, Rendy Pandugo now comes with a new EP titled See You Someday.

Indonesian music artist Rendy Pandugo

Released on Jan. 29, the EP that comes with six tracks was first inspired by Rendy’s own habit of saying “See you someday” at the end of his live shows.

With a friend mentioning how it would be nice to create a song using the phrase, Rendy felt now is the right time to release it in the form of an EP, with an outro track with the same title, as an expression of how he missed his fans and the good days of performing on stage in front of the live crowd.

Not being able to meet his fans in person ever since pandemic, the album is meant as a remedy and a chance for Rendy to reconnect and be there for his listeners, as well as his wish of being able to see them again soon.

With the EP, Rendy aims to present comforting tunes that he knows for sure his fans would love, while also starting afresh in 2021. Through this EP, Rendy reintroduces himself as a singer-songwriter, now with a more modern and complex music composition. With a mix of acoustic tracks, harmonious alternative pop with a touch of piano, and an emotional ballad, Rendy hopes to start over in the new year, as he reconnects with existing fans, while also introducing himself to new listeners.

The EP, mixed by Ollipop from The Kennel Sweden and mastered by Greg Calby from Sterling Sound, is a collaborative work featuring Rendy’s own best friends as the producers for some of his tracks. These producers include Teddy Adhitya for the track “Far,” Petra Sihombing for “B.Y.L”, and Enrico Octaviano for “Secret.” An exciting collaborative work that  Rendy himself enjoyed and learned a lot from.
