International singer and songwriter Reneé Dominique and producer trio Bloome have linked up on new single “The Rose,” an infectious slice of electro-pop that combines tropical feelgood chords with the singer’s beautiful voice.
Reneé, a multi-platinum awarded singer-songwriter and producer Radboud Miedema, delivers a bittersweet internal dialogue with breezy, exciting sounds. The track in a funny way describes the story of a guy trying to treat his woman right but in fact, always messes up.
“The song shows a grown, feisty, and interesting side of me while roses itself stand for a girl’s delicate beauty. They come in a variety of colors—like how women come in all kinds, shapes, and sizes,” the 21-year-old artist said of the single.
Reneé is known for her creative music and beautifully designed videos on YouTube. In December 2009 she started uploading videos of cover songs of various classic hits (The Beatles, Carpenters) as well as self-written songs on her channel.
One of her most successful covers “Somewhere Only We Know” by Keane counts over 11 million views on YouTube and was chosen by Samsung for one of their global campaigns. She has 1.3 million subscribers on YouTube and more than 210 million streams over all platforms.
On her last single “Could I Love You Any More,” she collaborated with multi-awarded singer-songwriter Jason Mraz.
Bloome, on the other hand, is a new artist project by multi-platinum award-winning songwriter and producer Radboud Miedema and the two Roseville band members Twan Ray and Jarin Lourens. With hit singles written and produced for artists such as Lost Frequencies, Alle Farben, Sam Feldt, Lucas & Steve, Austin Mahone, Lucas Estrada, Janieck, and Laidback Luke, the three friends teamed up to combine their signature styles into a harmonious blend of timeless pop-infused tropical-electronica chill sound.
