The Villancico Vocal Ensemble is a group of choral music enthusiasts founded in 2009 by the Junior Music Educators Guild of UP Diliman College of Music under the baton of conductor Eudenice V. Palaruan.  It formed out of spontaneous music-making during leisure time, which eventually turned out to be an established non-profit singing group.

The vocal ensemble is mainly composed of student conductors, professional musicians, and active members from various university and church choirs.  Their repertoire primarily centers on early music, particularly works from the Renaissance and Baroque periods.

The Villancico Vocal Ensemble has been performing since 2012 yearly at the International Bamboo Organ Festival along with guest artists from abroad.

Currently under the musical directorship of Dr. Beverly Shangkuan-Cheng, the Villancico Vocal Ensemble continues to uphold its mandate to perform choral music in its highest standard and to make it accessible to its growing audience.
