Global girl group Katseye is making its long-awaited return with a brand-new single titled “Gnarly,” set to drop on April 30.
The release is the group’s first comeback in eight months after its debut EP, which launched the six-member act into the global spotlight. The group was formed through “The Dream Academy,” a survival audition project by HYBE and Geffen Records.
Katseye took to its social media platforms, showing a logo motion teaser for the upcoming track. The clip opens with a refrigerator door swinging open to reveal a green liquid-filled bottle etched with the group’s name.
Consisting of Daniela, Lara, Manon, Megan, Sofia, and Yoonchae, Katseye debuted in June 2024 with SIS (Soft Is Strong), which entered the Billboard 200 at No. 119. The EP’s lead single “Touch” has since amassed over 100 million streams on Spotify, solidifying the group’s presence in the global pop scene.
