The two-hour musical celebration started on a high note with a stellar performance from The Clash panel AiAi, Christian, and Lani, before introducing its first ever champion Golden Cañedo.

AiAi’s hilarious performance of “Let It Go,” complete with snow magically coming out of her hands, was a big hit. The audience was also treated to a K-pop number from AiAi, Christian and Lani where they all roared with laughter.

“I was able to bring hom ether great memories I had with the Pinoys in the US. Christian, Lani, Golden, and I were able to share the Christmas feeling with  GMA Pinoy TV subscribers. Maraming maraming salamat po sa lahat ng GMA Kapuso fans na nanood sa aming concert sa US. Merry Christmas and thank you po, GMA Pinoy TV!” said AiAi.

Christian, who was also celebrating his birthday during the concert, serenaded the audience and the winners of Miss Philippines USA 2019 with a medley of classic OPM songs and power ballads that provided a heart-warming vibe to everyone.

“Thank you so much for your time, your cheers, your love, and for all the reasons that you came to the show. We love you and we really appreciate you,” said Christian.

Meanwhile, Lani is a true epitome of world-class Pinoy talent with her vocal prowess. Her enchanting voice left the Kapuso abroad wanting for more.

“We are really overwhelmed with the reception. Thank you so much. To those of you who came to watch us, thank you for your support. We felt your love, talagang Kapuso. Sana ay patuloy ninyong suportahan ang iba pang programs ng GMA Pinoy TV,” said Lani.

Finally, Golden showed everyone what a real champion is made of with her all-out performance. Golden has come a long way after she became the first grand champion of The Clash and this concert is her way of thanking her supporters, especially the GMA Pinoy TV viewers.

“Maraming salamat po na kahit nasa Los Angeles  we still felt your love by coming to our concert. We really do hope that they enjoyed our perfomances,” she said.

Coinciding with the celebration of the Filipino-American History Month, each artist also performed with a selected group of Filipinas from Southern California to celebrate the wonderful talents of the Kapuso abroad. The night ended with a happy Christmas spirit as Aiai surprised the crowd in a Christmas tree outfit and sang a Christmas medley with the three Kapuso stars before bidding farewell.

Gracing the event was Philippine Consul General of Los Angeles Adelio Angelito S. Cruz who thanked the GMA artists for giving Southern California Pinoys a wonderful time.

After the concert, Christian and Golden together with The Clash Season 1 Finalists Mika Gorospe and Rachel Bergado had a meet and greet event in partnership with Xfinity with the Kapuso abroad in San Francisco. They also made a courtesy call to the Philippine Consul General in San Francisco. Capping off their trip was a quick side trip to Union Square and the Golden Gate Bridge.

The show is produced by Kapuso Concerts, a joint project of GMA Pinoy TV, GMA Entertainment Group, GMA Sales & Marketing Group, and GMA Regional TV, in association with Starmedia Entertainment.
