Play and eat at The Garage, the City of Dreams Manila’s new exciting attraction.
Changing the landscape of entertainment and dining, the new haven for fun is a VR Zone and food park that enables guests to enjoy the immersive experience of virtual reality entertainment and various choices of casual dining.
Bandai Namco Amusement from Japan provides the virtual reality experience at the VR Zone. The guests can also be players in the rousing games such as Mario Kart Arcade GP VR, Hospital Escape Terror, and Ski Rodeo.
“The Garage is City of Dreams Manila’s latest attraction featuring unique entertainment activities in partnership with Bandai Namco Amusement. With their creativity and cutting-edge technology, we are honored and delighted to partner with them, and together blaze a trail in delivering extraordinary entertainment experience that go beyond gaming and recreation in the Philippines,” Kevin Benning, City of Dreams Manila’s Chief Operating Officer, said.
Celebrities like Julian Trono tried the Mario Kart VR Game, and fun could be seen in their faces.
“Bandai Namco Amusement is honored to partner with luxury integrated resort City of Dreams Manila and bring to this exciting destination our first VR Zone entertainment facility in Southeast Asia. We hope to bring outside of Japan an immersive, multi-sensory and fun activities to Filipinos and foreign guests with our unique VR activities at The Garage,” Kunihisa Yagisita, Bandai Namco’s General Manager said.
The Garage’s VR Zone is also serving food from the 10 food and beverage trucks and trailers: Pink’s Hotdog, LA’s most popular food; Little Flour Café, which serves well-loved and locally-inspired Filipino rice bowls, delicacies; El Chupacabra, casual street taco bar serving Mexican-influenced dishes for lunch and dinner; Pizza Grigliata, serving freshly-made pizza, Farmacy Ice Cream, known as a time of classic turn-of-the-century ice cream parlor; Enjoy smoothies, slushies, and juices in Juiced; Taste the array of gourmet coffee served in The Roaster; and experience Japan’s food adventure with Hokkaido Ramen Santouka.
Also, the other The Garage’s food stops are Pizza Grigliata, Farmacy, Choco8, and Katsu Sora.
The new area is set in a 2,714-square meter cool and comfortable space located at the upper ground floor and designed by the award-winning Paris-based creative design agency, Malherbe Design in collaboration with Westar Architectural Interior Design. Graffiti works of Kookoo Ramos and DeeJae Paeste.
