Is Bea-Lloydie reunion finally happening?

After months of speculation, John Lloyd Cruz finally inks a contract with GMA Network igniting talks among fans the possibility of his much-awaited reunion with Bea Alonzo in a project pointing out their being connected with the same network now.

The 38-year-old actor  signed a partnership agreement with GMA for his highly-anticipated program. And Alonzo was among those who virtually welcomed him to the Kapuso network through a video message. 

The actress transferred to GMA last July after being an ABS-CBN talent for almost two decades.

“Hi Idan, ito na naman tayo, magkasama na naman tayo. Mukhang totoo yata ‘yung sinabi nila na magkadugtong ‘yung bituka nating dalawa,” Alonzo said in her video message.  “I cannot wait for everyone to see and experience the greatness of a John Lloyd Cruz just like I did through the years.

Cruz also received a warm welcome from Kapuso stars including Dingdong Dantes, Marian Rivera, and Alden Richards.

“Maraming salamat sa pagbibigay ng tahanan sa aming munting pamilya at programa. Napakalaking bagay ‘ho na nakahanap kami ng tahanan sa GMA. Sa lahat ng mga nagpaabot ng pagbati… sana talaga lahat tayo ay mabigyan ng pagkakataon na magkatrabaho. Kung may time kayo sana madalaw ninyo kami sa aming programa. I-we-welcome namin kayo sa aming munting pamilya,” said Cruz. 

GMA Network executives showed their full support and excitement to Cruz via Zoom, some greeted the actor via video messages and some were physically present at the EDSA Shangri-La Hotel, the venue of the grand welcome.

Wacky Solutions, Inc. Director and Line Producer Edgar “Bobot” Mortiz, CEO of Crown Artist Management, Inc., Rambo Nunez Ortega and COO of Crown Artist Management, Inc., and Mikki Gonzalez were also present for the momentous occasion.  

GMA Chairman and CEO Atty. Felipe L. Gozon expressed his delight over the partnership and hopes that the milestone deal paves way for more future projects, “John Lloyd is one of the most sought-after actors of his generation. That’s why I’m very happy he chose to partner with GMA for his TV comeback. I’m sure all our Kapuso viewers are excited to watch and support you as you begin a new season in your life.
