Who is Beyond Zero?

On Tuesday, Nov. 2, talent management House of Mentorque staged a grand launch held at The Okada Manila to introduce a new P-pop group composed of seven talented social media personalities who are called Beyond Zero.

Speaking to Manila Standard Entertainment, House of Mentorque CEO John Brian Diamante said that the talent management is banking on the group’s digital fame.

Collectively, the group, formed some eight months ago, has over 1.3 billion views on the popular social media app, Tiktok, where members share their talents in dancing with their millions of followers. They also have 12.5 million digital audiences worldwide.

NEW KIDS ON THE P-POP BLOCK. Beyond Zero is a seven-member boy group composed of talented social media personalities who found fame on the popular app, Tiktok.

“We’re gambling on these young talents because we see their potential and there are more than a hundred people working for Beyond Zero. Ganoong kalaki ang paniwala namin sa potential ng mga bata,” Diamante shared.

“Our dream for Beyond Zero is to go global. We will never stop. I always look into their eyes, I see fire and desire. They are as hungry as their fans. We are excited for this Pinoy talent and music to be part of the global scene,” he added.

Beyond Zero is composed of Andrei Trazona, Jester Kyle, Duke Cruz, Jieven Aguilar, Wayne Gallego, Khel Figueroa, and Mathew Echavez who all share the same degree of commitment to their dreams of becoming entertainment icons.

In the virtual launch, these future idols were introduced to the media and showcased their individual skills to prove why they are worthy to be part of the group.

They were warmly supported by other social media personalities like Ken San Jose, Argie Roquero, YukiTakahashi, Franz Mialo, Ralph Alfaro, Andrea Pauline, and Austin Ong who also performed.

Beyond Zero is currently housed together undergoing rigid daily training to hone their skills. It is being filmed and will be shown in a six-part documentary series on ktx.ph starting on Dec. 18, hosted by Jessy Mendiola.

On each episode, we’ll get to know more about their personal lives and their sacrifices as a group to reach where they are today. Their million supporters are also in for a treat as Beyond Zero performs in their launching concert set on Dec. 3, to be aired globally via ktx.ph.

Guest performers include Sexbomb Dancers, Maneuvers, Ace Ramos, MarsMiranda, Quest, and JROA.

Asked how the group came up with its name, Duke Cruz, who is also the leader, said that it’s a constant reminder for them to stay grounded.

“We all had nothing before we became social media personalities. We all started from zero, and with our effort we’re able to build our audience. So, it’s a reminder of where we came from and what we wanted to achieve as a group,” Cruz explained.

As the “newest kids” on the P-pop block, the group believes that their talents and their commitment to their craft  are their advantage. And they don’t mind being compared with P-Pop’s more established boy groups.

“As all of you know, we were TikTokers before all of these happened,” Trazona said. “We really think that the fans, we may lose some, but we will gain more once we finally release our single. The more na pagsisikapan namin ito, the more confident we are about our brand.

“We know that we can actually make it. SB19 has the K-pop influence. We, Beyond Zero, came from the dance community. We have the hip-hop influence and we are very proud of that. That we are part of the hip-hop community will give us the edge to go global,” Trazona ended.
