Over the weekend, Myrtle Sarrosa, with Hashtags member Ryle Santiago, and rapper Young JV, welcomed the guests and visitors in the office blessing of Megasolf, a brand known for affordable hygienic products.

After the event, the 25-year-old Myrtle graciously accommodated questions from the members of the entertainment press and was glad to share how she started the year off right. But there’s one question that the popular cosplayer and online gamer was trying dodge.

Rumor has it that she’s finally decided to cut ties with ABS-CBN and hopped over to its rival network. Though still all smiles, Myrtle declined to directly answer whether or not she’s going to be called a “Kapuso” in the next coming days.

Myrtle Sarrosa says she’s starting a new chapter in her career and she can only be happy for the opportunities that knock on her door.

“I’ll answer that in a separate press conference. I hope you understand,” she told Manila Standard during the pocket interview.

But members of the showbiz press were persistent and asked her who among the Kapuso actors would she be willing to work with in case she becomes an official GMA artist.

“That would be Alden Richards,” she said smiling. “I’ve told people in previous interviews that I would like to work with him because he’s a gamer like me. I believe would click because of our passion for online games.”

Inspiration

As ambassador of Megasoft, Myrtle is able to go around the country visiting different schools. With a common advocacy aimed at inspiring students to finish school, Myrtle is grateful to be part of Megasoft Hygienic Products, Inc. family.

“What we do here is a group effort but I’m grateful for every milestone we achieve.  We go to schools and we give out awards. Those who don’t excel well in academics are also given a chance to showcase their talents. We believe that everybody has his or her own strength and intelligence. Some in academics, some in sports, and some in arts and performing. We recognize them so they could also serve as an inspiration among their peers,” Myrtle related.

Representing the brand for almost five years now, she has already visited more than 70 schools across the country and is eager to continue sharing the vision and passion for education because she knows how difficult but exciting it is for a student to transition from high school to college.

Aileen Choi-Go, Megasoft Vice President for sales and marketing, couldn’t be any happier to have Myrtle on board.

“We’re proud of her achievements. The company is proud of all the people behind our brand, from the ambassadors to our normal employees. With Myrtle, she’s shown that she’s a good model,” Choi-Go said.
