Martin Nievera and Pops Fernandez were among the brightest stars on the concert stage during the ‘80s, and up until now, together, they are considered a force to reckon with.

Amid their seperation some years ago, the former couple still managed to give their audience a genuine entertainment highlighted by their engaging rapport.

“We’re friends and we don’t feel awkward when we perform. There’s no tension at all. I’ve always said it, Performing with Martin is always easy. He makes it easy for me,” Pops said during a press conference held early this week.

“If we’re still together, she could be my manager. She knows everything about me. It is so easy to work with Pops,” Martin said in response.

Pops is sharing the stage once again with Martin via a Valentine show entitled Twogether Again.

Produced by Starmedia Entertainment and DSL Events and Production House, in association with Solaire Resort and Casino,  the concert promises to be a royal affair bannered by the country’s most iconic concert royalties.

The pair that captured the hearts of many on and off-stage are finally coming together again for seven spectacular shows on Feb. 14, 15, 17, 18, 19, 20, and 21 at The Theatre at Solaire.

Fresh from their successful eight-city US tour last August that had an equally successful repeat a few months after in December, fans in Manila also clamored for their turn to witness the much-awaited comeback of the Concert King and Concert Queen.

Martin Nievera and Pops Fernandez respectively gained their fame as individual performers, but it was when they both hosted the famous TV variety show Penthouse Live! that fans became captivated by their chemistry and followed their on and offScreen romance.

Despite a shift in their love story, Martin and Pops remain very good friends today but they undeniably still have that same magnetic chemistry when they perform together on stage. It has been ten long years since Martin and Pops reunited and headlined a major concert in Manila on Valentine’s day of 2010 and it’s about time that they come Twogether Again for a Valentine special a decade after.

Pops and Martin show undeniable chemistry during the press conference for their Valentine concert held early this week

“It’s going to be one week of Pops and I. So, if you’ve missed this kind of entertainment, you have one week to get sick of it,” Martin said in jest.

“Hopefully you won’t get sick of it. I hope you will want more,” Pops butted in.

No doubt, many fans are eagerly waiting and very excited to see this iconic tandem perform together again, live! With grandiose production numbers, their engaging rapport with the audience, and just the “kilig” we all get from The Concert King and Queen,

Tickets are now available at all TICKETWORLD outlets (889 1-9999 www.ticketworld.com.ph) at P7,500, P5,500, P3,500, P2,500, P1,500, and P1,250.
