TBA’s ‘Write About Love’ an official MMFF 2019 entry

TBA’s romantic comedy feature Write About Love, starring Miles Ocampo (MaledictoThe Debutantes), Rocco Nacino (Bar Boys), Joem Bascon (Heneral Luna), and Yeng Constantino (The Eternity Between Seconds) was among the eight Official Entries of the 45th Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) announced today.

The acclaimed film outfit’s romantic comedy film was selected among the finished film submissions during the announcement ceremony of the MMFF 2019 Official Entries.
The film is co-written and directed by Crisanto B. Aquino in his directorial debut with music helmed by Jerrold Tarog and executive produced by Fernando OrtigasEduardo A. Rocha and Vincent Nebrida.

Write About Love  is TBA Studios’ way of honoring the unsung heroes of filmmaking – the scriptwriters. This film is about how these talented individuals often create characters which turn out to be their alter egos,” says Eduardo Rocha, CEO & Executive Producer. “We believe that the most talented scriptwriters are here in the country and that Filipinos deserve a shot at global recognition.”

The end is near for Naomi (Kris Bernal) as Yvie (Megan Young) and Matteo (Rayver Cruz) do everything they can to banish her evil spirit from Katya’s (Kim Domingo) body. But will they succeed? Or will they forever be entangled and haunted by the past?

The thrilling suspense-drama series Hanggang Sa Dulo Ng Buhay Ko concludes today, secrets will be unraveled, love will be put to the test, and all of their lives will never be the same again.

Kris, who has done several contravida roles in the past, said that she is happy to have played another complex character. 

“This is a very different contravida role for me because for the first time I’m playing a ghost and it allows me to explore this character well.” 

Megan sang nothing but praises for her co-stars, “Lahat sila first time ko makasama sa trabaho and I enjoyed working with them very much. Kris is all happy and fun but when on the set she’s very professional. Rayver is very happy-go-lucky, there are no bad vibes and he’s a very good co-actor. And Kim, she has a lot of stories to tell and she’s very warm. I’m very happy I got the chance to meet and be close to all of them.”

While they did a lot of heavy scenes, Rayver shared that the camaraderie they had on set was very light and fun. “The entire team is very professional and it encourages me to work because everybody is so easy to work with.”
