After fans of the first Fil-Korean love pair of Heart Evangelista and Alexander Lee fell in love with the romantic comedy My Korean Jagiya five nights a week for several months, they will finally say annyeonghe gyesyo to Gia and Jun Ho, perhaps with a heavy heart.

Without a doubt, the program was a hit among Kapuso followers and netizens that devotedly followed the love story of the Korean superstar and the hopelessly romantic K-Drama Pinay fan girl.

Both Heart and Alexander expressed their gratitude to everyone who supported the series since day one.

Heart said she’s glad that people loved her character, Gia, as much as she did. “To be honest, after a really, really long time, it’s the first time that I felt that people appreciated me, and my efforts. I’m so thankful na na-appreciate niyo and naipakita ko rin ang love ko for my job. To the show, to the staff and to GMA, I just want to put it on record I fell in love with my work again because of this show. Binusog niyo ako ng bonggang bongga. Thank you to the fans, to everyone, to the writers, and thank you even to the people that pushed me to do my best and it worked.”

Alexander, on the other hand, said he has learned many things while doing the soap, which has brought laughter and good vibes to the audience, “There are too many things I learned from the show, ranging from Filipino culture, working experience, to reflection on life. I think the most important thing I learned this time is also what Jun Ho learnt: Fame and popularity do not make you happy; it’s the loved ones around you that is more important and could bring you true happiness”

CaptioAfter months of trending on social media and winning the ratings game, 'My Korean Jagiya,' starring Heart Evangelista and Alexander Lee is finally bidding the small screen goodbye.

Alexander added, “I think I will miss having heart to heart talks with Heart. She really understands my feeling instantly and always gives me good advices on work and even on life. And I will definitely miss working with her because she is so easy to work with and the chemistry is just perfect.”

He recalled his first Christmas and New Year in the Philippines, saying, “Christmas, as expected, is really big here in the Philippines, but what I didn’t expect was New Year. New Year celebration here is so crazy and fun! Filipinos really know how to party and enjoy, with lots of food and fireworks around. Even though I was away from my family, I was so blessed to have my MKJ family and Ms. Janice de Belen was so kind to have me at her place for both Christmas and New Year countdown. Had a great time together with her family and friends. Really glad to experience these celebrations here in the Philippines.

And as for his plans after MKJ, “So far I have no upcoming show yet, but I’ll be going back to Korea for a break to spend time with my family and might go back to my radio show.”

He also plans to continue his studies. “I have two more semesters left for my undergrad degree so if possible, I’m planning to attend Spring semester this March and might be working at the same time,” he said.

Does he feel he is a better actor now? “ Definitely. After taking workshops and acting almost every day, I would say I have improved so much compared to the beginning. I find myself more flexible in acting instead of just being custom to the Korean style of acting.”

Meanwhile, director Mark Reyes shared he definitely enjoyed doing the soap and he will miss working with everyone on set most especially Heart and Alexander. “This is my third project with Heart. It’s always a joy to work with her. She’s grown so much as an actress and has become more beautiful. Xander and the rest of the Korean cast are the ones I will truly miss. They’ve become family almost immediately. And I think Xander is an underrated Korean artist that I will look forward to working with again. Please allow me to thank you to all the Kapuso Jagiyas for watching us until the very end. Gomawo!”

As the series ends, will Jun Ho and Gia’s romance have a happy ending?

My Korean Jagiya’s finale tonight right after Kambal, Karibal on GMA Telebabad.

As if death-defying stunts and neon light performances aren’t enough to keep fans glued to America’s Got Talent (AGT), throw in supermodel and reality TV star Tyra Banks as host, to make Season 12 even more promising, on and off the stage.

Fierce as she is stunning, Banks brings her own brand of glamor to an already dazzling show. Here are just five of her best and craziest antics at the weekly auditions that have set up AGT fans worldwide for a sure thrill.

Supermodel and 'America's Got Talent' host Tyra Banks

Golden Buzzer Moment

What else could be more exciting for an AGT host than getting the chance to hit the golden buzzer? Tyra’s first-ever moment came after a mesmerizing performance by the Light Balance dance group that made her stop the judges from voting so she could do the honors.

Just Harmless Drool

Hilarity ensued at the waiting line outside the auditorium when contestant and stand-up comedian Preacher Lawson slobbered Tyra’s arm and left her screaming and laughing. Of course, she was not going to let him get away without slobbering his face in light-hearted revenge.

Science Gone Wild

Tyra striking a pose in a lab coat complete with gloves and goggles? Even the science-y look couldn’t hide Ty Ty’s silly side especially when science-geek contestant Nick Uhas made her breathe gas from a balloon that lowered her voice by several octaves.

TV Au Naturel

Bare-naked performances aren’t unheard of in America’s Got Talent. That’s exactly what Ty Ty had to confirm—eyes wide and mouth agape—amidst the crowd’s shock and laughter when contestant Vinny Grosso took off all his clothes behind a screen as part of a comedy magic act.

Totally Fangirling

A pumping performance by boy band 5 Alive just couldn’t help but make Tyra scream backstage while fanning her face with both hands. She even got invited by the group to join their next act as their newest and lone female member a la Fergie from Black Eyed Peas.
