Andrea Torres continues her journey, as showbiz folks are wont to say these days, when she renewed her exclusive contract with GMA Network today on July 18.

She still a Kapuso, nonetheless.

During the contract signing, Torres said she feels blessed and thankful that she was renewing contract with the Kapuso Network, “Masaya ako dahil for the next few years makakasama ko ang pamilya ko, ang GMA 7. Dito naman po talaga ako lumaki. Ang nakakatuwa kasi they helped me realize what I want to do here in the industry. Tinutulungan nila ako para maisip ano pa ang pwede kong gawin at paano pa ako mag-e-explore,” she said.

Andrea Torres is a confessed Kapuso  loyalist

Apart from Bubble Gang she is on a primetime once again reprising the role of the feisty and daring Venus in the sequel to Alyas Robin Hood.

Her Venus got positive feedback from viewers and netizens and as the drama series enters a new chapter, she shared that “mas fierce, mas palaban at mas maraming action scenes ang aabangan sa character ni Venus. Excited na ako kasi magagamit ko na yung mga naging trainings ko for Muay Thai at Boxing.”

She also revealed that she looks forward to reunite with her co-stars and the production team of the soap and to finally work with her friend Solenn Heussaff.

“First time namin makakatrabaho ang isa’t isa. I’m sure magtutulungan kaming dalawa. Pero we’ve always been friends. Mas lalalim ang friendship namin dahil mas makakasama ko na siya.”

The audience loyal to the Kapuso network gives a net satisfaction rating to shows they’re watching nightly, Monday to Friday.

They are hooked on Mulawin vs. Ravena, My Love From The Star, and I Heart Davao.

Proof of this is the nightly trending on social media of these shows, here and abroad. And why not? The shows, like a well-prepared dinner, have everything to make the audience satisfied – action and romance in Mulawin vs. Ravena; drama, comedy, and suspense in My Love From The Star; and drama and comedy with some beautiful sceneries of Davao in I Heart Davao.

The management of the GMA Network thanks the audience for supporting the shows every night.

Dominic Zapata is impressed at how the members of the cast of Mulawin vs. Ravena has been very cooperative in making the show look like a show from Hollywood.

“Everyone seems to put more work every time they report for taping,” says the director of the show.

He cited particularly Dennis Trillo who plays Haring Gabriel, saying, “Dennis is impressive. I think a lot of his co-actors learn a lot from him. As a viewer there’s a wealth of talent in what he does. Pwede mo siyang ilagay kahit saan at gagalingan niya.”

The director has nothing but praises for the young members of the cast. “Gusto ko si Kiko kasi I like his work ethics. I like that he tries to better himself everyday, and I could say the same thing for all my actors. It has become a culture in their group not only when it comes to acting, pati sa pangangatawan nila obvious naman kay Derrick, or sa kanilang moves. The following day you see that they’re a little bit better and better. That’s the culture that I try to inculcate in the group.”

Well, their hard work is paying off. I heard that the GMA bosses are very happy with the show and how it’s performing in the ratings.
