Actor, model and singer Orlando Sol, a member of the Masculados group, is now embarking on a solo career as an artist with his first-ever album and takes the lead in an online romantic-drama series.

His album entitled Emosyon features five original hugot love songs composed by Jerwin Nicomedez. This will be distributed under Star Music.

Aside from this, Orlando leads in Star Music’s first online drama series called Kailan Darating ang Ayoko Na, which is also the title of the album’s carrier single. Catherine Rem, Ruby Cayetano, and Blumark Roces join him in this highly anticipated, unconventional love triangle, which has gone viral. The five-part series is produced by Production 56 and is directed by Maryo J. De Los Reyes, the blockbuster director known for many hit films such as The Unmarried Wife, Magnifico, and A Love Story. Its pilot episode premiered on Star Music’s YouTube channel on April 28 and the next episodes on May 5, 12, 19 and 26.

Star Music released the official music video of the hugot single “Kailan Darating Ang Ayoko Na” on YouTube and on music channel MYX last week, serving as a preview of the upcoming series and a teaser of the singer’s ballad album.

Masculados member Orlando Sol goes solo with the release of his first studio album and online romantic-drama series

The actor-singer is excited for his first lone venture in the music scene, referring to this opportunity as an “accident.” He was first introduced as a Masculados member eight years ago. More opportunities came his way when he recorded his first single which is also part of this album, entitled Ingatan Mo ang Salitang Mahal Kita, his lucky first as a solo artist, as this eventually led him to pursue a dream of having his own album.

Other tracks included in this release are “Lilipad Ako ‘Nay,” “Kaibigan,” and “I’ll Always Be There,” songs that listeners can easily relate to. “I’ll Always Be There” is a light track that talks about developing feelings for someone special while “Lilipad Ako ‘Nay” is a song particularly dedicated to his mom, his major inspiration as he strives to make it big in the industry.

Emosyon is now available online on Spotify, iTunes, and Apple Music, and available in record stores for only P199.

It was an emotional ending for Destined To Be Yours, AlDub’s intial foray into primetime television.

Fans didn’t expect the series to end this soon, but, as in all businesses, all good things must pass.

Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza expressed their gratitude to the Kapuso fans who tuned in and supported the series every night. “Maraming salamat sa pagmamahal at suportang ibinigay niyo sa amin,” says the two. “Nandiyan na kayo mula nang magsimula ang love story namin ni Sinag sa Pelangi, at hindi kayo bumitaw at sinamahan niyo pa kami ni Benjie sa lungkot at saya.”

Will Alden and Maine be back in a soap again? Only GMA Network and TAPE Inc.  can say and also determine when.

Plastic is not allowed in Sarap Diva in its episode today. Regine Velasquez-Alcasid has Andrea Torres, Rhian Ramos, and Iya Villania as guests. Oh, Phillip Lazaro is also in the show.

Will the guests name names as among the “pinaka” whom they had worked with in the industry? That’s what we will watch out for.

Andrea and Rhian will teach the other guests how to whip up Choco Dream Delight, a drink to cool the bodies in this oppressively hot summer days and nights. Iya will pair it with homemade Cheese Pimento sandwiches.

There’s more to songwriting and singing for The Voice Philippines Season 1 alumnus Paolo Onesa.

The pride of “Kamp Kawayan” revealed he is every inch a fighter as he shared his passion for mixed martial arts (MMA) last Thursday in Sports U on ABS-CBN.

Paolo believes physical fitness brings out the best in him as a performer, through instilling in him discipline and confidence. He showcased this side of him while learning other MMA styles with 2009 SEA Games Muay Thai gold medalist Crew Zaidi Laruan.

Like Paolo, budding tackle ball player Vincent Presas also shared how sports has changed his life in the program, while host Dyan Castillejo and son Matthew spent a sports-filled Mother’s Day bonding experience worth checking out for.
