In a recent interview, actor Edgar Allan Guzman was asked about his sexy pictorial for a popular underwear brand: a move that he thinks is good for his career.
“Yes, I think so!” he averred. “When it was offered to me, I gave my nod right away. I’m happy that the feedback is positive.”
Many were surprised by this turn of events. Interestingly, what made him decide to undress and bare some skin?
“I guess this is something new for me. I think it’s about time that I offer something fresh to the viewers. I want to show them another side of me. I want to show that I’m more confident now when it comes to doing sexy stuff.”
Just recently, he made waves in his guest appearance in Eugene Domingo’s top-rating GMA weekly comedy anthology Dear Uge in which he played the role of a macho dancer who does online performances.
“I didn’t think twice in committing to the role. I think that the offer coincides with my decision to appear in more daring portrayals. I’m happy with my work there,” EA admitted.
Asked about his preparations for the daring projects, the actor shared that he had to tap the services of an instructor to help him achieve a “sexy and desirable physique.”
“Because gyms are still not operational, we did workouts at home through Zoom. For two months, I also observed a strict diet. No carbs for me. During that period, I was only eating eggs, fish, and chicken. It was really a sacrifice but with the turnout, I have no regrets,” the 32-year-old actor affirmed.
Reacting to people’s feedback, EA said it somehow boosted his confidence.
“It’s very encouraging. I feel flattered every time I read comments like they find me sexy and that my built is just perfect,” EA ended.
