After renewing his contract with GMA Network, Rayver Cruz said that he’s extremely thankful to his mother studio for all the opportunities it has given him since he transferred three years ago.

The 32-year-old actor describes his journey with GMA as a fulfilling one.

“They brought out the best in me. They unleashed my true potential. That’s what I like best with my stay in the Kapuso lot,” he told Manila Standard Entertainment.

Rayver believes that as a GMA artist, he was able to broaden his horizon.

Ravyer Cruz lists Heart Evangelista and young actress Kyline Alcantara as the stars whom he would want to share the screen with in his next TV project.

“They made me realize that I can do a lot of things. They successfully tapped my other capabilities and show them to the viewers. Like I never thought I’ll be able to do hosting in ‘The Clash’ and singing in ‘All-Out Sundays.’ This of course, aside from the acting assignments they give me like my currently airing afternoon soap opera ‘Nagbabagang Luha,’” he said.

“GMA capitalized on my potential and fielded me in various projects that would further hone my skills. They’re good at seeing the directions I should take. Now, I’m more confident than ever with myself, especially with hosting. I feel that I can do it competently now unlike before,” Rayver added.

He is satisfied with the way his mother network maps out his career it makes him think that he would ever leave GMA in case he received any offer from rival networks.

“Even to consider such thought, it’s not in my mind. I’m happy with my present home studio. I opt to stay here in GMA. They know where to put me. That’s why I signed up with them again,” he exclaimed.

With his renewed partnership with the Kapuso Network, Rayver wanted to explore other avenues where he can showcase his other talents.

“If there’s one thing though which I want to be recognized more, it’s my singing. I know that I can carry a tune. Hope that I’ll be given more exposure as a singer.”

As for the stars he’d love to share the screen for the first time as leading lady, the actor listed Kyline Alcantara and Heart Evangelista as his first choices.

“Kyline is much younger than I am, I know. And it would also be a great experience to collaborate with Heart,” Rayver noted ending the interview with a message for the audiences of “Nagbabagang Luha” where he shares stellar billing with Glaiza de Castro, Mike Tan, and Claire Castro.

“It feels good to hear that the viewers are affected by the developments in the story. In our social media accounts, you can read encouraging feedback from people. We are always trending on Twitter. We’re very proud of this,” Rayver ended.
