Despite being confined at home, Kapuso actress Andrea Torres was able to celebrate her birthday with much happiness and love.
For her birthday, boyfriend Derek Ramsay gifted her with a pink golf putter. Apart from this, he also collected video greetings from his family and close friends to surprise his lady love.
“It was really touching,” says Andrea. “I didn’t expect that Derek would come up with something like that. I couldn’t help but shed tears especially with the birthday greetings from people who are close to us: his family, our friends. I really miss them all.”
“I got really emotional because at this point, I’m so down with everything I see in the news. I highly appreciate what Derek has done to put a smile on my face on my birthday,” she adds.
Andrea also loves the flower-designed cake Derek sent her because the latter couldn’t buy her flowers due to the quarantine.
“I eventually liked the sport the moment I started going with him on matches. I think I’m the only one who’s got a pink one,” Andrea says of the golf putter she got from her beau.
In one of his recent interviews, Derek said that he is already certain that Andrea is the girl he wants to spend the rest of his life with.
“Of course, the idea tickled me. That’s the goal of couples who are in a relationship: that they would really end up together until their dawning years. I got truly flattered with what he said.”
The alluring GMA star discloses how confident she is with her relationship with Derek.
“I should say that this relationship simply stands out from the rest. It’s so light and everything’s on point, so to speak. In fact, when we talk, Derek and I realize that maybe, it was God’s plan that our paths crossed. Amazingly, we didn’t exert a huge effort just for things to work. All of our activities just go with the flow. They happen naturally. As I’ve said earlier, it’s so light to handle,” ends Andrea.

Mark Herras was surprised when the dance video which he recently posted on his TikTok account went viral. The original Bad Boy of the Dance Floor revisited the dance steps of “Average Joe,” which he popularized at the height of his StarStruck days.
“I got really surprised. It’s been a while since my name trended. I’m grateful that it went viral. At least, people still appreciate my dancing skills,” he avers.
The Kapuso star admits that he really missed dancing and hopes that he’d be given a dance show when things are back to normal.
“That’s what I long for. Or a dance concert or album.”
With his sudden resurgence, netizens start to compare him with China-based artist-choreographer DJ Loonyo whose popularity is rising in social media. Is it okay with him if the two of them would have a showdown in the future?
“Personally, I hope we won’t get pitted against each other or we get compared. We’re both performers, dancers. With what’s happening around us at this point, let’s avoid any negative issues,” says Mark.
