It was noticeable that in the recently-concluded ABS-CBN Ball, Joshua Garcia was all by himself. Just like Bea Alonzo and Julia Barretto, the young actor opted to attend the traditional glitzy function alone. He wasn’t with someone, unlike the past year when he graced the same event with former girlfriend Julia in tow.
“It was my personal choice not to be with someone in this year’s ball. I’m just happy to be in the event even if I was alone. I just looked forward to enjoying the evening upon arrival and I did,” he avers.
For the young actor, there is more meaning and significance in this year’s edition of the star-studded ball.
“We have a beneficiary, the Bantay Bata 163. The celebration is more meaningful because it’s for a good cause. That night was special because we didn’t only celebrate and enjoy. At the same time, we were helping children. It’s simply a wonderful feeling!”
Many ask how he is at present. Is he okay being single or he would still choose that phase when he is in love with someone?
“I think it depends on the person. But if you’re to ask me, I can say I’m okay with both. While it’s nice that you’re in a relationship with the one you love, it’s also great if you’re single because you’re spared from complications. Your life is smooth-sailing.”
In spite of the fact that his love life is zero at present, Joshua is glad that his career, on the other hand, is doing well. For one, his currently airing prime time soap opera The Killer Bride opposite Janella Salvador is a certified chart-topper. In fact, it consistently trends in social media. Fans gradually like his screen chemistry with Janella as well.
“I only have gratefulness in my heart. I want to thank all my supporters for their never-ending love and appreciation. All the effort I exert in doing the scenes is definitely all worth it. It’s not easy to mount scary scenes. But with all the positive feedbacks we get from viewers, we feel more encouraged to work harder to give them quality entertainment. I’m simply thankful to all the fans that supported and continuously support The Killer Bride since day one. We owe our success to all of you!”
The appealing heartthrob is proud that fans have accepted his love team with Janella.
“Of course, who wouldn’t be happy? I’m overwhelmed by their support. All of us in the program feel that the soap is doing well ratings-wise, from Janella and I to Sam (Concepcion) to Alex (Ilacad). It’s good that our love triangle in the story is working.”
Meanwhile, Joshua has a message to all JoshLia fans who keep on supporting him even if their love team has already ended.
“I just want to tell them that I love them. They’re still here until now who always cheer me. Despite the sad fact, they remain loyal to me. I would like to thank them from the bottom of my heart. Anyways, I have good news for the fans: Julia and I have wrapped up shoot for our movie Block Z. It’s a must-see film and everyone should watch out for it,” he ends.

After her love team with Donny Pangilinan was disbanded, Kisses Delavin is bracing for lots of changes.
“It is expected,” she says. “But what I can say right now is that I’m grateful to all my supporters. I hope that they trust what I decide upon and will continue to be by my side no matter what.”
At this point, does she think it’s better if she will be pushed as a solo actress?
“I can’t really say because it’s always a different experience. But each experience has its nice side. Let’s just wait and see.”
In one of Donny’s recent interviews, he said that he won’t forget everything that they’ve shared together in their friendship and that he wishes her happiness.
