Has Gerald won Bea’s affection back?

Bea Alonzo and Gerald Anderson ‘unfollowed’ each other on Instagram, but after a few days, the two started following each other again.

Netizens and showbiz peeps are asking if such is a sign of their reconciliation or if the actor has already won her affection back after rumors spread that they were in "love trouble" due to Gerald’s movie pairing with Pia Wurtzbach.

It’s good to note that Bea didn’t just unfollow Gerald, she also unfollowed Pia. Hence, netizens concluded that the former Miss Universe could be the culprit.

Except for Gerald's words to disprove rumors when he claimed that he and Bea's relationship is "okay naman," neither Bea nor Pia gave any statement or answered any question on the controversial "unfollowing" incident.

They were not seen together during the Holy Week break and while the movie continues to earn huge bucks for Star Cinema, the couple's "following back" again is read by many as a sign of them, being together.

Interestingly, Bea still hasn’t followed Pia on Instagram. Would Pia just let the rumor die even if she became the subject of people's branding her as "," "mang-aagaw," and "trouble maker?"

Was that the price of her being a leading lady to a commercially successful movie, the career she has been dreaming of for a long time?

A younger version of "following back" incident also holds something for both Julia Barretto and Joshua Garcia.

Just like their Kuya Gerald and Ate Bea, the two were reportedly on the verge of doing the same when Joshua was linked to a local beauty queen from Davao, who now lives in Laguna.

Speculations about their romantic involvement to be in trouble came out when Joshua, allegedly tried to make a pass at the local beauty queen whom he met on-line.

But nothing has been proven about such even when after the rumors, both teen stars posted some cryptic messages which the netizens concluded that it's the end of the youngsters' love issue.

"Mabuti pa sila, ang daming alam sa atin," or words to that effect common replies of Joshua and Julia about the whole thing.

And what do we want to say about senior actors Sharon Cuneta and Gabby Concepcion's joining the bandwagon of "unfollowing" trend among showbiz celebrities?

Que horror, but if such will not be used as another gimmick or publicity for any project in the future, then we will give it to them. It's their right and their socmed accounts and their unending issue on moving on and the likes. Besides, they are already old enough to do whatever they want.

However, we seemed to have been victims of Sharon's posting of her and Gabby's throwback pictures with captions that made us believe that they indeed were okay and good friends. Then, we all found out later that everything was just  made for a food joint TV commercial.

As soon as the TVC went viral on socmed and re-established their tandem's prowess, Shawie took down her posts and started talking about a movie project with Gabby that would no longer happen.

That triggered the exchange of unpleasant words between Gabby's fans and the megastar, who positioned herself as the one who did everything for the said project to push through.

The latest word we got is that Shawie asked for an apology as she felt being not so rational on things around her.

Whether such apology was intended for Gabby, she could no longer act the way she used to do some two decades back, when everything was all about her. She’s too old to be Taylor Swift, you know.
