Tom Rodriguez is one honest actor who treats his leading ladies with utmost respect and professionalism. The actor is paired for the first time with Erich Gonzales, a Kapamilya actress who considers showing some skin as a career move.
In the film The Significant Other, billed as a gathering of millennial sex symbols, human relations takes center stage highlighted by the odds of falling for someone amid already being in a relationship.
Tom describes his leading lady as “very raw, yet daring. She is very secured as a person but in most of our love/sexy scenes, she always tells me to assist her, and I oblige.”
His other significant leading lady is co-Kapuso artist, Lovi Poe, the award-winning actress who is so used to the style of Joel Lamangan.
“Lovi, is an intense actress. She never hesitates to doing a difficult scene as she trusts her director and co-actors. Good thing that we are good friends so there’s no wall to break, so to speak. But then again, in those steamy scenes (as they portray as husband and wife), nagkakagulatan pa din kami. One classic sample is that love scene where it was only during the take when direk Joel instructed me to “pump”,” recalls Tom.
Both actresses commend Tom for being a very good leading man. They claimed that Tom protects them during the shoot and he is the one that subjects himself to any exposure in case some scenes go awry.
“But thanks, direk Joel is a very decent and careful director. Although he always wants us to be very truthful with our scenes, never, or there’s not even one situation wherein we are compromised,” remarked them.

According to La Luna Sangre’s production staff, the show is ending in three weeks time beginning this week.
The vampire-wolf inspired soap that made KathNiel the current king and queen of primetime, has reached its peak in telling the stories of Tristan (Daniel Padilla) and Malia (Kathryn Bernardo), and so extending it by putting subplots would mean its deterioration.
“Let’s end it while it is rating highly and while the story sticks to its core,” related an insider who also said both Kathryn and Daniel have shown maturity and displayed versatility with their roles.
When we asked if their being so comfortable with each other brought by their real-life romance has helped them become what they are today as actors, the insider said, “Yes. On and off screen, there’s no stopping their magic. Hindi pa ba talaga nila sinasabing sila na? Ang dami na nga nilang bawal pagdating sa mga male and female friends noh.”
