The Coronation Night of Miss Universe Philippines 2022 will be a gathering of four Miss Universe winners, Pia Wurtzbach (2015), Iris Mittenaere (2016) and Demi-Leigh Tebow (2017) as hosts and reigning Miss Universe 2021 Harnaaz Sandhu as special guest.
Shamcey Supsup-Lee, national director of Miss Universe Philippines Organization and Voltaire Tayag, MUPH Director of Communications, thanked Ilocos Sur kingpin Luis ‘Chavit’ Singson and Architect Richelle Louise Singson-Michael who made Sandhu’s coming possible.
Meanwhile, the Top 32 finalists were officially presented to the press concluding with three special awards given to Celeste Cortesi, Best in Arrival Look; Michelle Dee, Frontrow Multi-Level Beauty; and Annabelle McDonnel, Best in Catwalk.
Previous preliminary awards have been won by Ghenesis Latugat, Fashion and Runway challenge; Ma. Katrina Llegado, Swimsuit challenge; Jeanne Nicci Orcena, Livestream challenge; Pauline Amelinckx, Introduction Video challenge; and Isabel Luche, Headshot challenge.
Who will succeed Miss Universe 2021 Top 5 Beatrice Luigi Gomez? That will be known come the Finals to be held at the SM Mall of Asia, Pasay on April 30, 2022.

Miss Tourism Heritage 2022 pageant launched
The maiden Miss Tourism Heritage 2022, the newest national beauty search, was launched recently with more than thirty candidates from different regions of the country competing to become the first representative in Miss Tourism Heritage International 2022, set late this year in Zamboanga Peninsula.
The Miss Tourism Heritage Organization, is headed by Michael Angelo Tan, president/national director; with Earl Edward Baludio, vice-president; Reginald Boste Taar, Jr., marketing director; Alexander Andan, vice president for operations, and Jr Aggarao, PR Manager.
The pageant aims to help promote responsible tourism through protection and preservation of natural and cultural heritage of the different countries around the world. The winner will become the face and voice to carry out the mission and objectives of the Miss Tourism Heritage organization.
Miss Tourism Heritage Philippines 2022’s court of honor includes Miss Tourism Heritage-Luzon 2022, Miss Tourism Heritage-Visayas 2022, Miss Tourism Heritage-Mindanao 2022 and Miss Tourism Heritage NCR 2022.
The candidates will converge in Manila on April 18 for a one-day tour of the historic walled city of Intramuros. Next, they will visit the different natural and cultural heritage sites of Cagayan Valley Region. Nueva Vizcaya, Quirino, Cagayan and Isabela will be the venue for the different pre-pageant activities. The Coronation Night will be hosted by Caoayan City, Isabela on May 1.
