Like the mythical King Midas, everything RS Francisco touches turns into gold.

In the field of dramatic arts, many can still remember the Philippine revival of M. Butterfly, which even had a national tour. In entrepreneurship, we all know that his multi-billion health and wellness business continues to grow and give employment to many industrious Filipinos.

Even during this pandemic, Francisco’s inspiration soars. His dream line of fun and colorful apparel, while adding a functional twist to keep us safe and protected from the virus, is now a reality. Say hello to RS Luxxe Wear.

“Those who know me personally would know that I love streetwear. It has been a dream to have a line of comfy shirts wherein I can express my design concepts. Yung tipong RS na RS,” he starts.

“Part of that dream was to share these designs with those who are closest to my heart,  like my Frontrow family. That said, RS Luxxe Wear is something that my team and I have been working on for quite a while now,” he carries on.

For Francisco, the whole quarantine season became a blessiwng in disguise.

“When we were in ECQ, I had more time at home to think of what I can do with the fashion line. And I became more inspired when I shifted its purpose as fundraising for my charity projects.”

RS made sure of the quality of his ready-to-wear line with three main designs that are synonymous with his endeavor to touch the lives of people.

“It was accompanied with the purpose of donating our proceeds para sa ating mga kababayan at frontliners na in need of assistance right now. I’m the one personally packing and spritzing my staple scent sa mga shirt orders. Ganun talaga sya ka meaningful at work of love for me,” RS says.

The shirts and masks are all white, red, and black—which are the official hues of his health and wellness business.

“For the design, it is a close collaboration between me and one of our in-house visual artists, Paul Vito. Paul was also our visual artist when we recently did M. Butterfly,” adds RS.

Francisco says that some of his fashion must-haves are incorporated in the Luxxe wear collection.

“My everyday look consists of printed shirt, jacket, cap, and sneakers. Then of course now, because of COVID, mask, and face shield. I added masks to the line so I could push my advocacy for staying safe,” he concludes.

The RS Luxxe Wear shirts sell for P888 and re-usable masks sell for P168.
