Star Magic Kyle Velino is indeed blessed doing projects after another amidst the pandemic.

Star Magic talent and up-and-coming actor Kyle Velino

Previously seen in ABS-CBN’s Killer Bride and Paano ang Pangako on TV 5, Kyle Velino expresses his gratitude for the break and success of the BL series and Gameboys The Movie that garnered the most number of tickets sold during its first weekend on KTX.ph.

Kyle plays the role of Terrence Carreon, the ex-boyfriend of the main lead, Gavreel Alarcon (played by Kokoy de Santos). Terrence is seen as the antagonist and seen as a threat to Gavreel and Cairo’s (played by Elijah Canlas) budding relationship.

Despite some negative comments of his character in the most talked-about BL series, Kyle proves them wrong and he has done well as the antagonist. He focuses on how to give justice to the role and it all paid off.

“I’m very thankful dahil naging maganda outcome ng Gameboys at minahal naman nila ang character ko as Terrence. Salamat sa lahat ng sumuporta,” said Kyle.

Admittedly, Kyle’s unfamiliarity in BL series somehow challenged him as an actor but it eventually translates to an overwhelming reception and good reviews of his character in the series.

“It was not easy filming a show online. Ang hirap bumuo ng chemistry kapag hindi mo nakikita yung ka-eksena mo. Chemistry was hard to establish when doing scenes in front of a screen instead of breathing the same air as your co-stars but it was a smooth transition when we did the movie,” Kyle added.

Slowly but surely, Kyle is on the right track and keeps his high hopes to be able to do more challenging roles, both on TV and film, that will show his versatility as an actor.
