Meet Jan Jan Salazar of University of Santo Tomas who showcased his basketball talent at the FilOil Flying V Preseason Cup last year.

Born on Dec. 6, 2000 in Cainta, Rizal to Rommel Salazar and Analyn Salazar, the 5-foot-9 hardcourt hottie is currently studying (Grade 10) and playing as point guard for UST’s junior basketball team.

Jan Jan lists Barangay Ginebra cager Scottie Thompson as his ultimate idol.

“I’ve been looking up to him since my days at Perpetual. Napapanuod ko na siya sa TV lalo na nung nakita ko na siya sa personal mas lalo akong na inspire sa kanya. I also like the fact that he’s a very religious person. And he believes that it was God who gave him the talent kaya naman super idol ko si Scottie,” said Jan Jan.
