The wait is finally over. After eight months since the official presentation of candidates was staged, new Miss Universe Philippines 2020 is Rabiya Mateo of Iloilo. The announcement came live directly from Baguio Country Club in Baguio City on Sunday morning October 25.
Rabiya, 24 and stands 5-foot-7, was crowned by Gazini Ganados, who placed in the Top 20 of the Miss Universe pageant last year.
Other winners are:
1st runner-up: Maria Ysabella Ysmael, Parañaque
2nd runner-up: Michele Gumabao, Quezon City
3rd runner-up: Pauline Amelinckx, Bohol
4th runner-up: Kimberly Hakenson, Cavite
Rabiya will represent the country in the 69th edition of Miss Universe.
