Comedian Michael V tests positive for COVID-19

Seasoned actor and comedian Michael V took to YouTube to announce he tested positive for the deadly COVID-19 virus.

On Monday morning, Michael V, Beethoven del Valle Bunagan in real life, revealed he experienced flu-like symptoms when he tried to make a vlog last time.

Michael V learned that his positive for COVID-19 on his eight day of self quarantine. 
Bitoy said he had been experiencing loss of taste and smell, which he thinks is a big sign for people who have the virus.

“Isa sa mga symptoms ng COVID is yung lost of smell and taste. I was afraid that it could be something like that,” the 50-year-old actor said while showing the document of the result of his swab test showing that he tested positive for SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19.

The detection happened on his eight day of isolation. When he received his positive test result, he said he only had fever and that he had already regained his sense of smell.

Despite the sad revelation, the comedian ended his video on a positive note thanking his supporters as he goes through this difficult challenge.
