Inspiring beauty

Reigning TKS Mrs. International Vanessa Udarbe-Quezon, who won her crown in Singapore late last year, recently initiated a feeding program at Cantil-E elementary school in Dumaguete City, Negros, with the help of Negros Oriental governor Roel Ragay Degamo.

A follow-up activity is set in another Dumaguete school later in the year or once the COVID-19 pandemic is over.

She said of her Metro Manila quarantine routine, “I wake up at five in the morning, do my exercise and house chores, and prepare meal for my baby and the whole family. I have to lead and inspire people and spread strength during this time of crisis. Thus, we always pray Oratio Imperata at 12:00 nn and 8:00 p.m.. It had been a century since humanity faced this kind of unseen enemy so, since we’re all not familiar with it, let’s be part of the solution and work together as a nation to make it through.”
