Meanwhile, Bangug took home the Miss Orient Tourism Global 2025 crown in Selangor, Malaysia.

She impressed judges with a message about being a cultural ambassador, saying she carries “the stories of [her] culture, the strength of [her] people, and a vision for a world where tourism uplifts, connects, and transforms.”

Both queens previously competed in the Miss Pearl of the Orient Philippines 2024 pageant, representing Pampanga and Pangasinan, respectively.

Bangug also won Best National Costume for her sampaguita-inspired ensemble.
