Actress-host Gabbi Garcia has renewed her ties with GMA Network, marking more than a decade in the entertainment industry and reaffirming her place as one of the network’s most loyal homegrown stars.
Held Thursday, May 23, at GMA’s Studio 6, Gabbi, who first joined the Kapuso network at 15, got emotional as she looked back on her 11-year journey.
“When I was younger, I often got rejected in auditions and VTRs. But GMA was one of the few who embraced me… They took a chance on me without even knowing what I had to offer,” Gabbi said in her speech.
Now 26, Garcia said she’s grateful not just for the work, but for the support system that came with it. She called Sparkle, GMA’s talent arm, a second family.

“They supported me in everything that I do—acting, singing, endorsing, vlogging, and now hosting. They never left my side,” she added.
Though she’s checked off many milestones—including hit series, endorsements, and hosting gigs—the Pinoy Big Brother host said she still feels far from done.
“I know I’m 11 years in the industry, I’ve done so much, but I have yet to do so much more,” Gabbi continued.
When asked if she still has dream projects, Gabbi openly expressed her interest to star in a Girls’ Love (GL) series.
“That’s one of the roles I’ve always wanted to do. I haven’t done that,” she said, adding that she also hopes to lead a fashion-themed drama inspired by The Devil Wears Prada.
“There are so many kinds of stories I want to tell,” she told Manila Standard Entertainment.
She also acknowledged her longtime boyfriend and fellow actor Khalil Ramos, whom she credits for being a constant source of support.
“He’s been there in all aspects of my life. He’s not just my partner in love, he’s my partner in life,” Gabbi shared.
When asked if her early experiences shaped her career outlook, Gabbi said she would tell her younger self to keep going.
“You have no idea what determination and hard work can mean. Stay kind. Stay passionate. Love what you do,” she said.
The actress ended her message by thanking GMA for giving her the space to grow and explore new things as an artist.
“Thank you for giving me wings to fly and to do what I want to do. Thank you for giving me the dream of a lifetime. I’ll forever cherish it,” Gabbi said.
“I’m really grateful that GMA is still there to support me in everything that I want to do. This is just another beginning,” she added.
