Jericho Rosales and Tonton Gutierrez, stars of the 2000 drama series “Pangako Sa ‘Yo,” reunite in a photo shared by Janine Gutierrez.
On Sunday, Janine took to her Instagram to show moments from the recent passing of her two grandmothers, Pilita Corrales and Nora Aunor.
In one of the pictures, Jericho and Tonton smile for the camera, reminding fans of their roles as Angelo and Governor Eduardo Buenavista, respectively, in the hit 2000 teleserye “Pangako Sa ‘Yo.”
Janine’s post came after a heartbreaking week for her family. Pilita Corrales, known as Asia’s Queen of Songs, passed away on April 12 at age 85. Just four days later, Nora Aunor, the country’s “Superstar,” died on April 16 at 71.
In her caption, Janine thanked those people who have shown love and support to her during the trying times.
