The recently concluded Binibining Pilipinas grand coronation night witnessed a historic moment in the beauty pageant world as the Philippines’ four Miss Universe titleholders graced the stage.
Miss Universe 1969 Gloria Diaz, Miss Universe 1973 Margie Moran, Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach, and Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray reunited on stage surprising the audience at the Araneta Coliseum.
The queens, each representing a different era in Philippine pageantry, captivated the audience with their individual stories and journeys—from Gloria’s groundbreaking win as the first Miss Universe from Southeast Asia and Margie‘s victory using her wit and intelligence to Pia breaking the four-decade curse and Catriona’s iconic “lava walk”.
The evening also saw Kylie Verzosa (Miss International 2016) join the roster of hosts alongside Nicole Cordoves (Miss Grand International 2016 1st Runner-up), MJ Lastimosa (Miss Universe Philippines 2014), and Ruffa Gutierrez (Miss World 1993 2nd Runner-up).
