A week after one of the most memorable weekends of her life, actress Charlie Dizon reflected on winning her first Gawad Urian award for Best Actress and her enchanting wedding with “Third World Romance” co-star Carlo Aquino.
In an Instagram post shared with her fans, Dizon recounted the joyous weekend through a series of photos.
“It’s been a week since our back-to-back weekend!!! First I got my first best actress award from one of my dream award giving bodies, ang Gawad Urian,” she said in the post’s caption, while also congratulating her fellow nominees as well as the team behind the film Third World Romance.
“A day after, I officially became Mrs. Aquino. Grabe ang timing Lord, I believe this is all YOU,” she said further.
The actress also took the chance to express her gratitude to those who have supported her and her husband in their journey to the altar.
“I am proud that we are here today with people who genuinely love us. And that’s what truly matters, celebrating our love with the people who mean the most,” said Dizon.
Dizon and Aquino tied the knot last June 9 in a ceremony held in Silang, Cavite.
