Gillian Vicencio reveals her ‘truth’ on KathNiel breakup

Kapamilya actress Gillian Vicencio has finally addressed the rumors linking her to the breakup of Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo, refuting the allegations and defending her reputation.

In an interview with ABS-CBN, Gillian admitted that she was surprised about the issues linked to her.

“I was surprised. Nothing like that happened. It’s the first time I’ve had such an issue. I don’t know where it’s coming from. I messaged her (Kathryn) but we haven’t had a chance to meet in person again,” shared Gillian.

She also mentioned that if there’s a project offered that involves either Kathryn or Daniel, she would gladly accept it.

“It’s a project. It’s for work. Yes, because there’s no malice,” she explained.

When asked about the last time she communicated with Daniel, the young actress said that she didn’t get to talk to him for a while.

“We don’t talk. It’s been a long time since we last spoke after the taping. We only talked during the taping (as a group),” she added.

Gillian was part of the cast of last year’s series “2 Good 2 Be True,” which starred Daniel and Kathryn, while she worked with the latter in the box-office movie, “A Very Good Girl”.

Reflecting on the issue and the supposed backlash she received, Gillian revealed, “It’s unavoidable to feel traumatized. I can’t remember the most hurtful comment because there were many.”

“Of course, it really affects you. It’s not nice what people are saying. But with my family and friends who never left me, I’m doing okay now,” she added.

“I cannot control the minds of other people. At least I know myself and my truth,” continued Gillian.

She also shared details about her latest projects, including “What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim” and an upcoming movie.

“Thank you, Lord, for the blessings that come my way. I’m currently filming a series called ‘What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim’ and have completed a movie with Joem Bascon and other talented indie artists,” expressed Gillian.
