Miss Korea Philippines, a franchise of the prestigious Miss Korea, is a non-profit nationwide beauty pageant that selects Korean residing in the Philippines as candidate to the prestigious beauty tilt. The event, on the other hand, aims to nourish the blooming relationship between the Philippines and South Korea and to promote the rich and attractive culture of both countries.

Miss Korea has served as a gateway to showcase the many talents of Korean women in the midst of the country’s recovery after the Korean War in May 1957. For over 62 years, the Miss Korea pageant has been a platform for talented and young women from different regions of South Korea and around the world to represent what they stand for and to show what truly makes a Korean woman.

Not only the pageant will showcase Korean beauty, it will also exhibit the charisma and intellect of the candidates.

Together with her advocacy, the crowned Miss Korea Philippines will be able to help cultivate the Philippine norms with South Korea’s contemporary yet traditional culture like last year’s winner, Lee Hanna, who represented the Philippines and won first runner-up in the Miss Korea main pageant and then represented Korea in the 2017 edition of Miss Earth.
