To celebrate Miguel Tanfelix’s birthday this year, GMA Artist Center in cooperation with his fans’ club prepared a thanksgiving party where all his fans wore black while Miguel wore white jacket with matching pants.
The party was an expression of love from the fans and their unconditional support for Miguel’s showbiz career, which is now on its 12th year. For fans, having a chance to get together with their idol can be such a fulfilment.
Miguel thought that it was just a simple celebration, but it overwhelmed him as the party was given to him by Artist Center had 150 fans in attendance. He was surprised to see his fans from different provinces and as far as Batangas who travelled just to be with him. Most of them gave their birthday messages for Miguel who spiritedly listened and spent time for picture taking with all of them.
“Kapag birthday mo, masayang kasama ang mga mahal mo sa buhay. So para sa’kin, hindi yun family at friends lang. Gusto ko pati ang aking mga fans ay makasama ko rin para masabi ko kung gaano ako nagpapasalamat sa kanila,” Miguel says.
His celebration became more exciting when Bianca Umali arrived to give him a special message, “I’ll always be here for you, you know that. You and I are partners, and I am more than happy to be the Bianca Umali of Miguel Tanfelix. “
Meanwhile, Ivan Dorschner shared fun and knowledge with the young members of the Boy Scout of the Philippines (BSP) to celebrate his birthday. Ivan is an Eagle Scout, the peak of Scouting advancement.
Ivan was able to inspire the BSP members with his knowledge on being a Boy Scout and pointed out that the Scouts’ brotherhood is the most important value they should uphold. The young members then showed him their “Ivan Clap,” and spent lunch together over a boodle fight.
The Kapuso star explained why this was the celebration he planned, “Being a Boy Scout is already a part of me and I want to share my knowledge to the younger generation. It’s a responsibility that I’m proud of, and I wish to inspire them.”
