Yet, Angel still got trolled by people who hide behind their computer screens and mobile devices calling her publicity hungry. As fas as we know, Angel is one of the only few stars in showbiz who make genuine efforts to help our countrymen during troubled times. She’s done so many efforts before even without the press around.

For the actress, it was just a small gesture but for the family of the deceased she provided more than just comfort. The singer’s decision to leave local showbiz and try her luck as a stage actress was a good career move after all. Rachelle Ann continues to bring pride and honor to the country after she recently won the Best Featured Actress in a Musical award at the 2017 Theater Fans’ Choice Awards for her role as the strong and provocative Gigi in the West End production of Miss Saigon. It’s her third recognition for the same role.

Department of Tourism Ad
It doesn’t take a genius to point out similarities between the new DOT ad and the tourism ad of South Africa in 2014. And yet, people at the DOT including the ad agency that conceptualized the tourism promo lack the balls to admit their incompetence. In fact, they are very firm on their belief that their work was a product of creativity and originality. While it is still more fun in the Philippines, it wouldn’t be any more fun for the people behind this ad; they should be filing their resignation by now, that is, if delicadeza is part of their vocabulary.
Diether Ocampo
The 43-year-old actor has not given any official statement whether he’s signing up as a Kapuso talent or not. Diether is going to appear in the latest episode of Magpakailanman opposite Megan Young. Though it’s nice to see him making a guest appearance once in a while, it is actually better than doing showbiz full-time. Even Piolo Pascual hardly gets TV projects these days, and when he gets one, the reception isn’t that good. It should be a wake up call for Diether.

The phenomenal TV star is the favorite topic of gossipmongers these days. And yet, people in her camp are not doing anything to do any damage control. They know for a fact that her popularity depends on her million fans, mostly netizens. They should have done something by now unless they are fine with Maine and her perennial partner suffering more from bad publicity.
