Former child star Jillian Ward grew up as a fine young actress, but she proved talent and beauty aren’t all what she is. Her undeniable charm on screen comes along with her warm and generous personality.
As she celebrated her 12th birthday on Feb. 17, she organized a mini birthday party with the children of Convoy of Hope where they bonded over fun games and karaoke at the Family KTV at City of Dreams. Jillian and the kids have found the common love for music and they serenaded each other with heart-warming performances.
“I enjoyed this day because the kids are so fun to talk to. I love how they are so up for anything and natuwa akong kahit short time lang parang super close na kami. I’m happy that I got to spend time with them for my birthday,” she shared.
Meanwhile, the freebies and memories are not the only things the children took home. Jillian shared a piece of her heart with the kids and gave them an inspirational talk where they learned about living their dreams and not giving up.
For Kim Domingo, she welcomed 2017 with a heart full of gratitude as more people support her career while receiving more blessings. Being in show business for more than two years, she has made a name in the industry and proved her abilities. As she celebrated her 22nd birthday on Feb. 3, she spent it at Blessed Family Home Care Facility, which she personally chose, with the elderly the whole day. She instantly connected and created a deeper bond with them as she listened to their stories over a hearty meal. She capped of the celebration by giving them gifts and daily household needs.
Kim has a special place for the elderly in her heart and shares, “I’m very close po with my lola since sa kanya ako lumaki, that’s why I am personally involved with this cause. I’m happy na kahit sa maiksing oras, I got to show them that they are always loved, just like how I want to show my love for my lola.”
