Filipino reggae artist Elias J TV to hold first U.S. tour in September

Filipino reggae artist Elias J TV will launch his first U.S. tour in September, with stops in Hawaii, California, and Texas.

The tour will open in Waikoloa and Maui, followed by shows in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Redwood City, San Diego, and Houston.

Elias is joined by his band, composed of Jandave Alborme (saxophone), Adrian Rama (bass), Sherwin Bernardo (drums), Jayvee Lavisures (lead guitar), Axle James Villadores (trumpet), Kenji Bangkas (backup vocals), Kit Aldrin Marohomsar (sound tech/keyboard), and Mikael Kendal Gadiano (keyboard). The group is managed by Beverly Pumicpic Labadlabad.

Elias J gears up for his first U.S. tour with performances lined up across Hawaii, California,
and Texas

Elias J, whose real name is Elias Jr. Gabonada Lintucan, began his music career recording covers and original songs in Cebu. His reggae version of “Boliviaz Riddim” went viral with over 5 million views on YouTube, gaining a following among overseas Filipinos in the Middle East, Europe, and North America.

“Every stage I step on, I carry the stories of my people with me,” Elias J said in a statement. “This tour is not just about performing. It’s about bringing people together through music and culture.”

Known for his uplifting lyrics and island-rooted sound, Elias J’s music often focuses on themes of healing, resilience, and cultural pride. His songs have found a following among overseas Filipino workers, some of whom have shared how his music helped them cope with loneliness and homesickness.
