Kapuso actor Alden Richards, using his real name Richard R. Faulkerson Jr. as director, attended the 3rd Da Nang Asian Film Festival in Vietnam this week for the international premiere of his courtroom drama Out of Order from June 29 to July 5.
The film — in which Richards also stars as a lawyer defending his estranged father, portrayed by Nonie Buencamino — premiered in the festival’s main competition lineup.
Co-stars include Heaven Peralejo and an ensemble cast featuring Soliman Cruz, Andrea del Rosario, Joyce Ching, Nicco Manalo, Francine Garcia, and Yayo Aguila.
Richards, recently recognized as Phenomenal Box Office King and an EDDYS Best Actor nominee, said directing Out of Order has always been a dream.
Out of Order is expected to be released commercially in the Philippines later this year.
