Universal Pictures has unveiled the first trailer for Wicked: For Good, the second installment of the two-part film adaptation of the Broadway musical Wicked.
Directed by Jon M. Chu, the film is set to premiere in theaters on November 21.

The trailer showcases returning stars Cynthia Erivo as Elphaba and Ariana Grande as Glinda, highlighting their evolving relationship amid political turmoil in Oz.
It features iconic musical numbers like “For Good” and “No Good Deed,” along with glimpses of new material, including original songs crafted for each lead character.

Notably, the trailer offers a first look at Dorothy, a character previously only silhouetted in the stage version, now stepping into the storyline.
Additionally, scenes hint at Glinda in a wedding dress — a departure from the original musical.

Wicked: For Good continues the story following Elphaba’s departure from Oz, exploring the consequences of her actions and the strain on her friendship with Glinda.
The film also stars Jonathan Bailey as Fiyero, Michelle Yeoh as Madame Morrible, and Jeff Goldblum as the Wizard.
